Sulam Ya’aqov is a Jewish outreach organization established upon the mandate G-d gave Ya’aqov on Har HaMoriah:
Bereishit 28:12-15
וַֽיַּחֲלֹם וְהִנֵּה סֻלָּם מֻצָּב אַרְצָה וְרֹאשׁוֹ מַגִּיעַ הַשָּׁמָיְמָה וְהִנֵּה מַלְאֲכֵי אֱלֹהִים עֹלִים וְיֹרְדִים בּֽוֹ׃ וְהִנֵּה יְהוָה נִצָּב עָלָיו וַיֹּאמַר אֲנִי יְהוָה אֱלֹהֵי אַבְרָהָם אָבִיךָ וֵאלֹהֵי יִצְחָק הָאָרֶץ אֲשֶׁר אַתָּה שֹׁכֵב עָלֶיהָ לְךָ אֶתְּנֶנָּה וּלְזַרְעֶֽךָ׃ וְהָיָה זַרְעֲךָ כַּעֲפַר הָאָרֶץ וּפָרַצְתָּ יָמָּה וָקֵדְמָה וְצָפֹנָה וָנֶגְבָּה וְנִבְרֲכוּ בְךָ כָּל־מִשְׁפְּחֹת הָאֲדָמָה וּבְזַרְעֶֽךָ׃ וְהִנֵּה אָנֹכִי עִמָּךְ וּשְׁמַרְתִּיךָ בְּכֹל אֲשֶׁר־תֵּלֵךְ וַהֲשִׁבֹתִיךָ אֶל־הָאֲדָמָה הַזֹּאת כִּי לֹא אֶֽעֱזָבְךָ עַד אֲשֶׁר אִם־עָשִׂיתִי אֵת אֲשֶׁר־דִּבַּרְתִּי לָֽךְ׃
And he dreamt and behold! A ladder was set earthward and its top reach heavenward; and behold! Angels of G-d were ascending and descending on it. And behold! HaShem was standing over him, and He said, “I am HaShem, G-d of Avraham your father and G-d of Yitzhaq; the ground upon which you are lying, to you will I give it and to your descendants. Your offspring shall be as the dust of the earth, and you shall spread out powerfully westward, eastward, northward, and southward; and all the families of the earth shall graft themselves in you and in your descendants. Behold, I am with you; I will guard you wherever you go, and I will return you to this soil; for I will not forsake you until I will have done what I have spoken about you.”

The word סלם (Ladder) has the same numerical value [130] of the word סיני (Sinai). The connection between Jacob’s Ladder [Sulam Ya’aqov] and Sinai is the Torah. In his encounter with G-d, Ya’aqov was shown that it is only through the Torah that the Jewish people can ascend to HaShem.
The MISSION
Sulam Ya’aqov Inc. is a Jewish outreach organization that focuses on the Jewish people, the Torah, the land of Israel, and places a special emphasis on the Jewish convert and his/her journey towards the faith of Avraham. We are an online organization that provides Torah education to all people, regardless of their religious background & serves as a bridge to the traditional Jewish world with those on the wide spectrum of Judaism. We help take away the misunderstandings about the bible, Moshiach, & oral Torah to those who may be new to these concepts and replace them with a more sound teaching that reflects the true nature of Jewish teaching. In a way, our organization helps end the stigma of what people think traditional Judaism is we can all usher in the age of the Moshiach in unity and peace.
